Radha Soami, Dera Baba Bagga Singh is a registered non-profit society with no affiliation to any political or commercial organizations. It was founded by Satguru Baba Bagga Singh Ji with the spirit of selfless love and dedication to the sangat (devotees and seekers). With time Satguru Baba Deva Singh Ji and Baba Partap Singh Ji founded many centers in North India to help humanity. Satguru Baba Kehar Singh Ji established many more spiritual awakening centers in India and all over the world. The present Master Baba Paramjit Singh Ji, is continuously working for the development of the Dera (and other centers) and for the spiritual upliftment of sangat.
The history of The Dera has the following chronology:

|Baba Bagga Singh Ji, was born in village Chuslevar, District Amritsar.
|Baba Bagga Singh Ji qualified for the recruitment test and joined the Army. While receiving his uniform he met Baba Jaimal Singh Ji (Founder of Radha Soami Dera Beas).
|Baba Bagga Singh Ji was initiated by Baba Jaimal Singh Ji.
|Baba Bagga Singh Ji went on reserve duty and began living in his village Chuslevar where he kept busy in meditation day and night for nine years.
|Baba Jaimal Singh Ji during his visit to Chuslevar, entrusted the holy task of blessing the devotees with Naam to Baba Bagga Singh Ji.
|Baba Jaimal Singh Ji decreed Baba Bagga Singh Ji to find land for his dera in Tarn Taran.
|By the order of Baba Jaimal Singh Ji, Baba Bagga Singh Ji purchased land in Tarn Taran and started conducting satsang. This place is now called the ‘old Dera’. On the occasion of dera inauguration, Baba Jaimal Singh Ji arrived Tarn Taran and blessed the sangat with his satsang (spiritual discourse). City sangat also came to hear spiritual discourse. That day Hazur Baba Jaimal Singh Ji himself prepared a chapatti in Dera Langar.
|With the increase in the sangat (devotees), the land for the present Dera was purchased and the building was constructed on Railway Road Tarn Taran. Baba Jaimal Singh Ji, arrived in this dera and blessed the sangat with his spiritual discourse.
